THE JITTLADA ROYAL THAI CUISINE in Indonesia is seeking a dedicated cashier to manage guest payments at the front desk. You will process payments using POS, handle cash and card transactions, and ensure every bill is accurate.

This role requires strong numerical skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to stay calm during busy periods. Experience in hospitality and cash handling is preferred, with flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum experience as cashier or front office in hospitality.
• Proficient with POS systems and cash handling equipment.
• Strong numerical skills and fast, accurate transaction processing.
• Excellent guest service and problem solving.
• Calm under pressure when handling transactions or complaints.
• Attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work varied shifts including weekends/holidays.
• Hospitality or cashier operations certification is advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Process guest payments accurately using POS systems.
• Maintain cash drawer reconciliation at start and end of shift.
• Provide courteous service and answer questions about bills.
• Assist guests with currency exchange inquiries.
• Generate and review itemised invoices.
• Handle billing complaints professionally and escalate when needed.
• Keep cash desk clean, organised, and secure.
• Collaborate with front office and restaurant staff to coordinate charges.
• Process refunds and adjustments following procedures.
