Job summary

EF Education First's EF EFEKTA English for Adults in Jakarta is expanding our Business Development team. We are seeking a Business Development Specialist who is motivated and fits our culture, with strong communication and negotiation skills and an analytical mindset.

You will identify new customers (B2C & B2B), build relationships, develop proposals, and collaborate with sales, marketing, and center teams to close deals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• 3+ years in sales, marketing or business development.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Experience networking with private companies and government institutions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new customers (B2C & B2B) as well as partnership opportunities
• Generate leads through networking, event activations, sponsorships, outreach, and market research
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
• Develop business proposals, presentations, and sales pitches
• Negotiate contracts and successfully close deals
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities
• Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and operational/center teams
