Job summary

PT Translindo Nusa Pacific in Medan is seeking a results-driven sales professional in freight forwarding and shipping. You will secure new corporate shipping accounts, grow shipment opportunities, and maintain strong ties with existing clients to ensure steady volumes.

You will analyze client supply chains, coordinate with carriers and overseas agents, and work with operations to expand into new markets while monitoring credit terms and invoices.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) or Diploma (D3) in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of total sales experience in freight forwarding/shipping lines.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• A deep understanding of Indonesian customs regulations (Bea Cukai).
• Understand Export, Import and Freight Forwarding operations flow.
• Able to coordinate well with internal team and overseas agents.
• Responsible, good attitude and responsive.
• Comfortable working in a structured and targeted environment.

Responsibilities

• Secure new corporate shipping accounts by building new customer relationships and growing shipment opportunities.
• Maintain strong professional ties with existing logistics clients to secure continuous shipping volumes.
• Analyze client supply chains, identify bottlenecks, and present optimized cargo movement options, including ocean freight and air freight.
• Coordinate with carriers, airlines, and overseas agents to secure competitive rates.
• Work closely with operations and overseas partners to ensure smooth coordination and support business expansion into new markets.
• Monitor credit terms and ensure timely collections of outstanding client invoices.
• Provide regular pipeline reviews, competitor analyses, and revenue forecasts to corporate leadership.
