Job summary

Sephora is seeking a Global Database Lead Specialist to drive global master data operations from the Shared Service Center. You will own global master data models, drive data quality, and coordinate BPO activities for BAU and projects, including cleansing, UAT, and migrations.

Ideal candidates bring a minimum of two years of higher education, 4+ years in a SSC of an international company, and strong Excel and SAP experience, with excellent English communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum two-year higher education diploma.
• At least 4 years working in a Shared Service Centre of an international company.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Great analytical skills and curiosity to learn.
• Rigorous and well-organized.
• Fluent in English.
• Strong proficiency in Excel.
• Knowledge of SAP is mandatory; material transactions experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own global master data creations on novelties, non-sellables and suppliers through a ticketing system.
• Oversee delivery from Database Specialists – SLAs, quality checks, knowledge transfer, backup and continuous improvement.
• Help lead data quality through dashboards and processes, and coordinate data cleansing with BPOs and regions.
• Support BPO for UAT of master data topics in projects – perform UATs per BPMN and provide cleansing recommendations.
• Support local enhancements (e.g. SAP / MDM) and participate in release cycles.

Global Database Lead Specialist

As a Global Database Lead Specialist, you will lead global master data operations within the Shared Service Center. By working with the Global MD BPO, you will own global master data models and standards, help drive data quality, and coordinate BPO activities for Business-As-Usuals and projects (cleansing, UAT, migrations).

• Overseeing delivering from the Database Specialists – SLAs, quality checks, knowledge transfer, back up and continuous improvement
• Helping lead data quality through dashboards and processes, and coordinating data cleansing with BPOs and regions
• Helping BPO for UAT of master data topics in projects – performing UATs according to BPMN, providing preliminary analysis from database to give cleansing recommendations, performing any related tasks needed during the S!One Project
• Supporting local enhancements (e.g. SAP / MDM platform) and participating in release cycles
