Job summary

Sephora SEA is seeking a Global Database Lead Specialist to drive global master data models and standards within the Shared Service Center. You will own data models, coordinate BPO activities for BAUs and projects, and push for data quality improvements across regions.

In this role, you will oversee data creation for novelties, non-sellables, and suppliers, manage SLAs from Database Specialists, and contribute to UAT efforts during releases.

Qualifications

• At least a two-year higher education diploma.
• 4+ years working in a Shared Service Centre of an international company.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Great analytical skills and curiosity to learn.
• Rigorous and well-organized.
• Strong proficiency in Excel.
• Knowledge of SAP is mandatory, material transactions are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own global master data creations on novelties, non-sellables and suppliers through a ticketing system.
• Oversee deliverables from the Database Specialists – SLAs, quality checks, knowledge transfer, back up and continuous improvement.
• Lead data quality through dashboards and processes, and coordinate data cleansing with BPOs and regions.
• Support UAT of master data topics in projects – perform UATs per BPMN and provide cleansing recommendations.
• Assist local enhancements (e.g., SAP/MDM platform) and participate in release cycles.

As a Global Database Lead Specialist, you will lead global master data operations within the Shared Service Center. By working with the Global MD BPO, you will own global master data models and standards, help drive data quality, and coordinate BPO activities for Business-As-Usuals and projects (cleansing, UAT, migrations).

• Helping lead data quality through dashboards and processes, and coordinating data cleansing with BPOs and regions
• Helping BPO for UAT of master data topics in projects – performing UATs according to BPMN, providing preliminary analysis from database to give cleansing recommendations, performing any related tasks needed during the S!One Project
• Supporting local enhancements (e.g. SAP / MDM platform) and participating in release cycles
