Job summary

Sephora is seeking a Global Database Lead Specialist to own global master data operations within the Shared Service Center. You will drive data quality, manage master data models, and coordinate BPO activities for BAUs and projects across regions.

You will lead data cleansing, UAT in S!One projects, and support SAP/MDM platform enhancements while ensuring SLAs and knowledge transfer with Database Specialists.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a two-year higher education diploma.
• At least 4 years in a Shared Service Centre of an international company.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Great analytical skills and curiosity to learn; rigorous and well-organized.
• Strong proficiency in Excel.
• Knowledge of SAP is mandatory; material data management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Owning global master data creations on novelties, non-sellables and suppliers through a ticketing system.
• Overseeing deliveries from the Database Specialists – SLAs, quality checks, knowledge transfer, backup and continuous improvement.
• Helping lead data quality through dashboards and processes, coordinating data cleansing with BPOs and regions.
• Helping BPO for UAT of master data topics in projects – performing UATs and providing cleansing recommendations.
• Supporting local enhancements (e.g. SAP / MDM platform) and participating in release cycles.

As a Global Database Lead Specialist, you will lead global master data operations within the Shared Service Center. By working with the Global MD BPO, you will own global master data models and standards, help drive data quality, and coordinate BPO activities for Business-As-Usuals and projects (cleansing, UAT, migrations).
