Job summary

Sephora Jakarta is seeking a Global Database Specialist to manage global master data, ensuring high quality and supporting UAT. You will apply global standards and maintain data accuracy across regions.

You will create regional master data for novelties and suppliers via a ticketing system, monitor data quality, and assist BPO with guidance and reviews. Strong Excel and SAP experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Minimum two-year diploma and experience in a Shared Service Centre.
• Strong Excel skills and analytical mindset.
• Knowledge of SAP and master data management is required.

Responsibilities

• Execute global master data activities following global standards.
• Perform master data creations for regional novelties, non-sellables and suppliers via a ticketing system.
• Support data quality monitoring and resolve defects with BPO guidance.
• Contribute to UAT for master data projects and data cleansing tasks.
• Analyze duplicates and incomplete data and document outcomes.
• Maintain the Global Master Data SSC Playbook documentation.

Global Database Specialist

As a Global Database Specialist, you will be responsible for executing global master data activities under the guidance of the Global Master Data Specialist Lead. Ensuring high quality, compliant master data by applying global standards, performing validations, contributing to UAT, and supporting BPO on quality and issue resolution.

• Applying and maintaining global data standards, rules, and reference data
• Performing master data creations of regional novelties, non-sellable and suppliers through a ticketing system
• Contributing to data quality monitoring and helping resolve defects
• Supporting BPO with guidance, clarifications, and quality reviews
• Participating in UAT for master data – test execution, cleansing, added tasks during project phases
• Performing analysis for duplicates, incorrect entries, and incomplete data
• Maintaining documentation of the Global MD SSC Playbook

We would love to hear from you if you are/have…

• A minimum of a two-year higher education diploma
• At least 1 year working in a Shared Service Centre of an international company
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Great analytical skills and curiosity to learn
• Rigorous and well-organized
• Strong proficiency in Excel
• Knowledge of SAP is mandatory, material transactions is a plus, as is prior experience in material data management
