About the role

PT Asia Development Engineering is seeking a General Manager Operational to join our leadership team in Cengkareng, Jakarta. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial strategic role in overseeing all operational aspects of our business. As General Manager Operational, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, optimizing processes, and ensuring the smooth execution of our business objectives. This role requires a dynamic leader who can manage complex operations whilst maintaining a focus on efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

Overseeing all operational functions and ensuring alignment with company strategic objectives and performance targets

Developing and implementing operational strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity across all departments

Managing operational budgets, monitoring expenditure, and identifying cost‑saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety standards

Supervise all departments and must be able to work well together to solve problems and also help with problems that arise

Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, health and safety standards, and company policies across all operational areas

Working with the director to coordinate and supervise daily operations

Identifying operational bottlenecks and implementing solutions to improve processes and workflows

Develop and execute business and operational strategies in alignment with the objectives established by the Board of Directors and shareholders

Develop, implement, and monitor project execution plans, including budgets, resource allocation, work systems, project schedules, implementation methods, and performance targets

Evaluate operational performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, service quality, and cost effectiveness

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field from a Reputable University; MBA or equivalent is preferred

Minimum of 10 years in a managerial or senior leadership position

Experience in EPC, engineering, manufacturing, construction, or material handling industries is highly preferred

Proven success managing cross‑functional operations, projects, budgets, and resources

Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and decision‑making skills

Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and compliance requirements

Excellent communication, negotiation, problem‑solving and stakeholder management skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and performance reporting

Proficiency in English is required; Mandarin language skills are an advantage
