Job summary

Swiss-Belhotel International Indonesia is seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee hotel operations, reporting directly to the Regional Director of Operations and Development.

You will lead strategic planning, budgeting, training programs and goal setting to ensure guest satisfaction, sales potential and profitability across all hotel functions.

The role requires strong leadership, English fluency, relocation willingness across Indonesia, and bold, customer‑focused decision making.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years prior experience in the same position.
• Fluent in English and willing to relocate across Indonesia.
• Strong leadership, people and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Regional Director of Operations and Development of Swiss-Belhotel International Indonesia.
• Coordinate all hotel functions to meet profit objectives and standards.
• Interact with guests, clients, suppliers and other stakeholders.
• Develop and implement strategic plans, budgets, training and goals to maximize guest satisfaction and profitability.
• Ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction through quality service and amenities.

Job description

• Reports directly to the Regional Director of Operations and Development of Swiss-Belhotel International Indonesia.
• Managing and coordinating all functions of the hotel to achieve optimum standards of service and value to guests, while meeting or exceeding planned profit objectives in a manner consistent with the company’s and owner’s philosophy and policies.
• Interacts with Guest and individuals outside the Hotel including, but not limited to current and potential clients, owning company representatives, suppliers, competitors, and other members of the local community.
• Develops and implements the strategic plan, marketing plan, budget, training and goals program to ensure an ongoing basis optimum guest satisfaction, sales potential and profitability.
• Ensures highest level of guest satisfaction by providing, quality guest services and amenities within corporate standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years prior experience in the same position.
• Be highly creative and imaginative, and curious about SBI properties - its products and other related services offered.
• Be able to manage workloads effectively with Passion and Professionalism.
• Be highly self-motivated, well organized.
• Be able to see other people’s point of view and take on board feedback.
• Possess good leadership, people, and project management skills.
• Must be fluent in English.
• Must be knowledgeable on computer software such as the PMS, Office, and other related software used in the hotel industry.
• Willing to relocate to any locations in Indonesia.
