Job summary

Global Expat Recruiting is sourcing for a senior hospitality leader to drive the pre-opening of a 5-star luxury boutique resort in Indonesia. You will oversee pre-opening activities and, subsequently, lead day-to-day operations while mentoring a passionate local team to deliver a memorable guest experience.

The role requires extensive experience in branded 5-star resorts, strong Asia region exposure, and exceptional organizational and guest-engagement skills. English fluency is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a 5* leisure resort and boutique operation.
• Strong foundation in internationally branded properties.
• Pre-opening experience highly desirable.
• Asia experience, with Indonesia exposure is a big plus.
• Proven leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Job description

Our client is a 5* luxury boutique resort, offering less than 30 exclusive private villas and exceptional personalized service.

The resort is currently in its pre-opening phase, scheduled to open in Q3-Q4 2027.

You will be heavily involved with the pre-opening activities and will later on be overseeing the day to day operations of this unique property and lead and mentor a passionate local team who will deliver a truly memorable experience for their guests.

For this position, both Expats and Indonesian Nationals are being considered.

Profile

• Experience in 5* leisure resort and boutique operation
• Strong foundation in internationally branded properties
• Previous #1 experience not a must, also a strong current #2 ready for the next step up would be considered
