Garena in Bangkok seeks an experienced Bangkok Game Operations Team Lead to own the Thailand live operations roadmap, calendar, events, and player programs.

You will partner with Product, Marketing, Community, QA/Tech, and external partners to translate regional priorities into local execution plans, monitor performance, and lead end-to-end events.

This role also focuses on building scalable playbooks and mentoring the team to raise operational excellence.

Competenze

• Proven experience managing live events, launches, and incident escalation.
• Strong understanding of player lifecycle management and community health.
• Proficient in cross-functional stakeholder management and project planning.

Bangkok Game Operations Experienced (Team Lead)

Job Description

• Own the Thailand live operations roadmap and calendar, covering seasons, version updates, in-game events, player programs, and operational communications.
• Translate regional priorities into clear local execution plans, requirements, timelines, and launch-readiness checklists.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Regional, Marketing, Community, Customer Service, QA/Tech, BI, and external partners to ensure smooth execution and high-quality player experiences.
• Monitor player behavior, operational performance, community feedback, and emerging issues to identify opportunities, prioritize actions, and elevate risks proactively.
• Lead end-to-end event and content operations, including setup, testing, QA, go-live monitoring, incident management, and post-launch reviews.
• Develop scalable operating playbooks, reporting routines, and process improvements to strengthen operational efficiency and consistency.
• Support, mentor, and align team members to ensure effective execution across live operations activities.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience managing live events, version or content launches, operational calendars, QA/readiness checks, and incident escalation.
• Strong understanding of player lifecycle management, including engagement, retention, reactivation, and overall game and community health.
• Strong project management, analytical problem-solving, risk management, and cross-functional stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working with dashboards, spreadsheets, and operational data, with the ability to translate player insights and performance trends into actionable plans.
• Strong communication skills in both Thai and English, with a genuine passion for FPS/mobile games and gaming communities.
• Above 2 years of experience in live-service operations, product operations, or related digital entertainment roles; experience in the gaming industry is strongly preferred.
• Experience in coaching team members and developing operational playbooks or processes is preferred.
• Proficient in leveraging AI tools for data analysis and process automation, with strong awareness of emerging technologies and the ability to quickly learn and adopt new tools.
