Job summary

Quince is seeking a QC Manager, Furniture to embed quality controls across the product lifecycle. You will collaborate with QA, Sourcing and suppliers to ensure materials meet our high standards and to reduce returns.

You will lead audits, interpret data, and drive continuous improvement in a global supply chain, ensuring compliance with quality systems and supporting a sustainable, fair-production approach.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of proven experience in quality control, ideally in furniture or home goods industries.
• Quality control experience in manufacturing environments and/or field quality experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of QC methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate across partners.

Responsibilities

• Embed quality checkpoints with QA, Sourcing, Merchandising and suppliers to ensure product quality throughout the process.
• Lead supplier quality and compliance assessments and guide suppliers on best practices.
• Interpret in-process and analytical data to assess quality, recommend actions, and ensure resolution.
• Present on-site to supervise supplier QC personnel or self-perform QC actions for troubleshooting or continuous improvement.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address quality issues promptly.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Respond to customer complaints related to product quality and coordinate remedies with suppliers.
• Monitor returns and quality metrics to reduce the return percentage.
• Utilize data-analysis tools such as SPC and Pareto charts in data reviews for process improvement.
• Support the implementation of Quality Management System with HQ Quality Assurance.
