Job summary

Stilt Studios in Banyuwangi, Indonesia seeks a Quality Control professional to ensure quality across all stages of furniture production, from incoming materials to finished goods delivery.

You will read technical drawings, establish process quality standards, perform material and humidity checks, and report non-conformities. Fresh graduates or experienced wood manufacturers are welcome; familiarity with AutoCAD and MS Office is a plus, with collaborative problem solving expected.

Qualifications

• D3 or D4/S1 qualification in Furniture or Wood Construction.
• Fresh graduate or experienced in wood manufacturing.
• Able to read technical drawings.
• Knowledge of wood furniture production processes.
• Able to distinguish colours well.
• Comfortable working with computers.
• Familiar with AutoCAD, MS Office, or other design software.
• Problem solver with good leadership skills.
• Able to work independently and in teams.
• Good administration skills including filing, reporting, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Control quality of incoming materials, unloading/loading processes, manufacturing, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods, including customer delivery
• Create documentation and report on all processes, including non-conformity cases with before and after
• Determine QC acceptance and rejection, create reports, and follow up on improvement processes
• Establish quality standards for each process
• Conduct incoming raw material quality control
• Conduct humidity quality control
• Conduct quality control on products
• Perform quality assurance activities
• Coordinate with other departments to solve problems
• Submit daily reports to supervisor on all activities
