Standard Chartered is seeking an SSO Fund Services Admin to support Fund Services Operations by processing client instructions and time deposits, coordinating with internal teams and external banks to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Fund Administration, Fund Accounting or related financial services operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of Securities Services operations, controls and risk management; proficient in Excel.
• Excellent English communication, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage time deposit transactions and client instructions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Verify client instructions through signature verification and callback procedures to ensure compliance with operational and risk control requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams and third-party banks on deposit placements, withdrawals, and account administration activities.
• Reconcile incoming and outgoing instructions while maintaining accurate and complete operational records.
• Support account opening processes with third-party banks and maintain authorized signatory records.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and operational risk management standards.
• Respond to inquiries from clients and internal stakeholders in a professional and timely manner.

Our Ideal Candidate

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Fund Administration, Fund Accounting, Securities Services, Custody Operations, or related financial services operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Good understanding of Securities Services operations, controls, and operational risk management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Able to work effectively with multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Previous experience leading, mentoring, or coordinating a team will be an advantage.
