Job summary

Standard Chartered Bank Indonesia invites applications for a Fund Accounting Analyst based in Jakarta. You will prepare and send NAV and regulatory reports, authorize payments, and support audit processes, ensuring timely, accurate data and strong controls.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in fund accounting within financial services, solid knowledge of accounting principles and capital markets, and fluent English. Banking compliance and cross-functional teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 3–5 years' sustained experience in fund accounting in financial services.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, capital markets and financial instruments.
• Solid understanding of fund regulations, compliance standards and industry practices.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and send Non-Mutual Fund’s financial reports including NAV report to Fund Manager/Client on timely basis.
• Prepare and send Non-Mutual Fund’s daily NAV to media for publication purposes on timely basis.
• Prepare and submit Mutual Fund’s daily and monthly regulatory reporting to OJK on timely basis.
• Authorize payment order/voucher based on instruction from Fund Manager.
• Prepare Non-Mutual Fund’s monthly Custodian Fee to be submitted to Support Services unit for billing purposes.
• Prepare Non-Mutual Fund’s monthly Tax to be submitted to Tax unit for tax payment and reporting purposes.
• Act as liaison between Fund Manager/Client and SS unit Managers.
• Assist external auditor in preparing Non-Mutual Fund’s annual audit report.
• Manage Fund Manager/Client enquiries and provide administrative & operational support.
• Assist Fund Administration Assistant Manager in leading Valuation team to meet targets.
• Ensure documents and customer data are filed for accurate records and easy retrieval.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with Non-Mutual Fund regulations issued by OJK.
• Perform UAT/UVT on systems and reports enhancements.
• Comply with Group Policy and Standards on Money Laundering Prevention or local regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing Fund Manager/Client enquiries related to Non-Mutual Fund’s portfolio/financial transactions and to provide administrative & operational support within the bank.
• To assist Fund Administration Assistant Manager in leading Valuation team to ensure specific targets and objectives are set and achieved.
• To ensure documents and customer data is filed systematically for purposes of accurate records and easy retrieval to protect the bank's interest to ensure hassle free investigations when required.
• To assist Fund Administration Assistant Manager to ensure full compliance to Non-Mutual Fund regulations as issued and amended (from time-to-time) by OJK.
• To assist Fund Administration Assistant Manager to perform UAT and UVT on system and/or report enhancement
• To fully comply with Group Policy and Standards on Money Laundering Prevention or local regulatory requirements for the prevention of money laundering.
• To make prompt report of suspicious transactions according to the documented process on reporting and/or in compliance with local regulatory requirements.

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Finance
• A minimum of 3-5 years' sustained experience in fund accounting in financial services industry
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, capital markets and financial instruments (bonds, equities, money markets)
• Solid understanding of fund regulations, compliance standards and industry practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Fluent in english (written and verbal)
