Role Description The Freight Forwarding Business Development Manager at PT. Milenial Solusi Internusa is a full-time, on-site role based in South Tangerang. This role is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in freight forwarding, developing and maintaining relationships with existing and potential clients, and promoting the company’s logistics services. The manager will prepare and deliver sales presentations, negotiate rates and contracts, and coordinate with operations and customer service teams to ensure service quality and client satisfaction. Daily tasks include market research, pipeline management, tracking sales performance, and preparing regular reports and forecasts for management. The role also involves collaborating on pricing strategies, attending industry events, and continuously monitoring competitor activities and market trends.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain business development, with a strong understanding of international and domestic shipping processes.

Proven sales and negotiation skills, including the ability to build pipelines, close deals, and manage key accounts effectively.

Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage professionally with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.

Analytical and strategic thinking abilities, including market research, opportunity analysis, and sales forecasting.
