Job summary

PT. OCS Global Services (OCS Indonesia) is seeking a Supervisory Foreman to oversee industrial cleaning operations in automotive workshop and maintenance environments.

You will monitor cleaning tasks, ensure safe equipment use, and manage front-line teams across shifts. The role requires a Diploma or higher, hands-on experience in industrial cleaning or automotive settings, and the ability to follow SOPs, communicate with workers and client representatives, and maintain quality through

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma (D3) or above.
• Practical experience in an automotive workshop, industrial maintenance, or industrial cleaning environment.
• Experience supervising front-line workers, preferably in shift operations.
• Able to understand and follow SOPs, work instructions, checklists, and safety requirements.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with workers and client representatives.
• Willing and able to work in an industrial automotive environment.
• Preferred: 2–3 years of experience as a Foreman, Supervisor, or Team Leader in manufacturing or industrial services.
• Preferred: Experience in an automotive paintshop or painting-line environment.
• Preferred: Experience in technical cleaning, filter replacement, skid/grille cleaning, industrial machinery, or high-pressure cleaning.
• Preferred: Basic knowledge of contamination control, particle issues, and their impact on paint quality.

Responsibilities

• Monitor filter replacement and cleaning activities for grilles, skids, and other technical cleaning components.
• Ensure industrial cleaning equipment is used safely and correctly.
• Prevent cross-contamination and ensure paint residue and waste are handled according to designated procedures.
• Conduct first-level quality inspections before requesting final acceptance from the Project Manager or client representative.
• Identify equipment damage, abnormal conditions, or unsafe situations and escalate them immediately.
• Ensure corrective cleaning is completed within the required timeline when work fails inspection.
• Monitor team attendance, discipline, productivity, and PPE compliance.
• Maintain accurate shift records, cleaning checklists, handover notes, and supporting documentation.

Job description

This is a supervisory role responsible for overseeing industrial cleaning operations, equipment management, and team coordination in an automotive workshop or industrial maintenance environment. You will monitor cleaning activities, ensure safe equipment use, maintain quality standards, and manage front-line workers across shift operations.

Key responsibilities

Monitor filter replacement and cleaning activities for grilles, skids, and other technical cleaning components

Ensure industrial cleaning equipment, including high-pressure washers, industrial vacuums, floor scrubbers, ladders, and hand tools, are used safely and correctly

Prevent cross-contamination and ensure paint residue and waste are handled according to designated procedures

Conduct first-level quality inspections before requesting final acceptance from the Project Manager or client representative

Identify equipment damage, abnormal conditions, or unsafe situations and escalatethem immediately

Ensure corrective cleaning is completed within the required timeline when work fails inspection

Monitor team attendance, discipline, productivity, and PPE compliance

Maintain accurate shift records, cleaning checklists, handover notes, and supporting documentation

About you
