Job summary

PT SGMW MOTOR INDONESIA (Wuling Motors) Bekasi is seeking a Security Supervisor to oversee the on-site security team and fire safety officers, ensuring SOP compliance and effective emergency preparedness.

The role requires over 5 years in Security/HSE/Fire Protection, exposure to automotive manufacturing, and strong English and MS Office skills. You will coordinate with contractors, government agencies, and internal teams to maintain high safety standards.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of experience in Security/HSE/Fire Protection.
• Exposure to automotive manufacturing area.
• Familiar with local HSE/Fire regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily performance of the security team and fire safety officers according to SOPs.
• Manage fire service outsourcing operations.
• Coordinate with construction sectors to improve fire safety.
• Coordinate daily work of fire protection committees.
• Plan and participate in emergency evacuation and preparedness.
• Organize plant-wide fire inspections and ensure compliance.
• Implement GMS standards across the plant.

Job description

Overseeing and ensuring the fire prevention and security activities. Developing necessary system or process to ensure the implementation of Security/HSE/Fire management on site. GMS activities development for safety, Liaise with main contractor, subcontractor, necessary government agencies and internal.

Key responsibilities

Oversee the daily performance of the security team (security guards) and fire safety officers, ensuring everything runs according to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)

Responsible for the management of the fire service outsourcing business

Coordinate and solve construction sectors and improved fire safety

Responsible for coordinating the daily work of fire protection committees

Plan and participate in the company's emergency evacuation system and emergency preparedness

Organize plant-wide fire inspections and follow up rectification actions to ensure compliance with fire safety requirements

Implement GMS standards and support related activities across the plant

About you

Over 5 years experience in the field of Security/HSE/Fire Protection

Exposure to the automotive manufacturing area

Familiar with local regulation on HSE/Fire

Basic Computer Skill, Microsoft Office and Windows

Leaders attitude, clear communication skills (Presentation and so forth)

Good at working under pressure and good decision making ability

Proficient in English (Written & Spoken)

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT)

The SORP date for both plant and supplier park will be in July 2023 and the Plant will produce 150 thousand vehicles in a year. As a Chinese automobile enterprise invests in Indonesia, SGMW，the mother company of PT SGMW Motor Indonesia, was established on November 18, 2002. It is a joint venture with three major shareholders of SAIC Motor Corporation Limited, General Motors and Liuzhou Wuling Automotive Corporation Limited. SGMW has four manufacturing facilities in China with a total annual capacity of 2 million vehicles, included Passenger cars and commercial vehicles.
