Job summary

PT Indolok Gunnebo Indonesia (PT INDOLOK BAKTI UTAMA) seeks a Lead Technician to supervise field activities for the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of Fire Protection Systems across Indonesia. You will guide technicians, review drawings, and coordinate with clients and teams to ensure quality and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1st degree (S1) in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years as Lead Technician in M&E projects, preferably Fire Protection Systems.
• Strong knowledge of Fire Protection Systems (Fire Alarm, Sprinkler, Hydrant) and/or Security Systems.
• Able to communicate in English and read/interpret engineering drawings/tech specs.
• Experience in installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of M&E systems.
• Good understanding of HSE practices and PPE.
• Proven leadership, communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project documentation.

Must be willing to be assigned to company project sites across Indonesia.

Job Description:

Supervise field activities for the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of Fire Protection Systems.

Provide technical guidance to technicians and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

Review engineering drawings, work instructions, and project documentation.

Monitor work progress and resolve technical issues through inspection and troubleshooting.

Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.

Prepare technical reports, inspection records, and project documentation.

Ensure proper use of manpower, tools, materials, and compliance with HSE requirements.

Support testing, commissioning, final inspections, and project handover.

Requirements:

• Minimum S1 in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Lead Technician in M&E projects, preferably Fire Protection Systems.
• Strong knowledge of Fire Protection Systems (Fire Alarm, Sprinkler, Hydrant) and/or Security Systems.
• Able to communicate in English.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Experienced in installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of M&E systems.
• Good understanding of HSE practices and PPE.
