Job summary

PT. LiuGong Machinery Indonesia is seeking a Safety Officer to develop and implement safety programs ensuring compliance with regulations and reducing accident risks. You will conduct training, inspections, and incident investigations, coordinating with management to promote a safety-first culture.

The role requires strong communication, analytical abilities, and a solid grasp of safety standards, with certification preferred. This position supports ongoing safety improvements across operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years of working experience in safety officer or similar role is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety regulations.
• Excellent communication skills to train, inform, and motivate employees on safety topics.
• Certifications in safety management are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety programs to ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and reduce the risk of accidents or injuries.
• Conduct safety training sessions for employees on safety practices, emergency procedures, and PPE usage.
• Regularly inspect and audit workplace operations and conditions to identify potential safety hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Job description

Regularly inspect and audit workplace operations and conditions to identify potential safety hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards

Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence

Develop and oversee emergency response procedures, including drills, and ensure that emergency equipment is properly maintained

Identify and assess risks and hazards in the workplace, providing recommendations to mitigate them

Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training, incidents, and corrective actions

Work closely with managers, supervisors, and employees to promote a safety-conscious culture and address safety concerns

Job Requirement:
