Job summary

Panna Hospitality Group is seeking a Finance Controller to oversee cost control and financial performance across multiple outlets in Jakarta. The role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, inventory management, and accurate financial reporting.

You will review daily sales and purchases, verify supplier records, and drive cost efficiencies. Strong Excel and accounting software skills, plus leadership, are required for this fast-paced, multi-outlet environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years progressive experience in Finance and Accounting, preferably in F&B, hospitality, or multi-outlet operations.
• Experience budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, P&L, COGS analysis and month-end closing.
• Strong cost-control focus with ability to provide actionable insights for profitability.

Responsibilities

• Monitor costs across all outlets including food, beverage, packaging, and operations.
• Review daily sales, purchases, stock movements, wastage, and variances.
• Ensure accurate recipe/ menu costing and pricing updates.
• Conduct stock opname and investigate discrepancies with relevant teams.
• Analyse COGS, gross profit, and operating expenses to identify savings.
• Verify invoices, POs, GRs, and inventory records for accuracy.
• Prepare weekly and monthly cost-control reports with variance analysis.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and monthly close processes.
• Maintain cost-control SOPs and ensure adherence to portioning and inventory procedures.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Procurement, and Outlet Managers to boost profitability.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of progressive experience in Finance and Accounting, preferably within F&B, hospitality, retail, or multi-outlet businesses.
• Proven experience managing budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, P&L reporting, COGS analysis, inventory control, and monthly financial closing.
• Strong understanding of cost control, food cost, labour cost, operational expense monitoring, and variance analysis.
• Able to prepare accurate financial reports and provide actionable insights to improve outlet profitability and operational efficiency.
• Experience coordinating with Operations, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Outlet Managers to ensure financial compliance and cost discipline.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and financial modelling.
• Familiar with accounting software, POS systems, inventory management systems, and multi-outlet reporting.
• Able to lead, mentor, and supervise finance/accounting team members.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and strict reporting deadlines.
