Job summary

Waruna Shipping Group seeks a Finance Executive to manage end-to-end finance and accounting activities. You will handle day-to-day transactions, AP/AR, payments, reconciliations, GL, and monthly closing.

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. Requires a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, minimum 3 years in finance, strong Excel and Accurate software skills, and good English. Based in Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in finance/accounting.
• Strong understanding of AP/AR, bank reconciliations, GL, and financial closing.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with Accurate accounting software preferred.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

We are seeking an experienced Finance Executive to handle end-to-end finance and accounting activities across the organization. In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, accounts payable and receivable, payment processing, reconciliations, general ledger activities, financial closing, and reporting. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy, compliance with company policies, and timely delivery of financial information.

Responsibilities

Handle day-to-day finance and accounting activities, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.

Manage end-to-end finance processes, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), payment processing, bank reconciliation, and general ledger activities.

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, transaction reports, and supporting documents.

Perform daily financial transactions and ensure proper recording, classification, and documentation.

Conduct account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies or variances to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.

Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.

Prepare periodic financial reports and supporting schedules for management review.

Perform financial data processing, analysis, and validation to support reporting and business requirements.

Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and follow up on relevant transactions as required.

Support tax, audit, and other finance-related activities, including preparation of supporting documents and information.

Ensure finance and accounting activities are performed in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable accounting standards.

Maintain proper and organized documentation of financial transactions and records to support internal control and audit requirements.

Coordinate with relevant internal departments and external parties on finance-related matters.

Prepare ad-hoc financial reports, analysis, and supporting information as required by management.

Support continuous improvement of finance processes, controls, and reporting to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Perform other finance-related projects and assignments as directed by the Finance Supervisor or Finance Manager.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in Finance/Accounting, preferably with hands-on experience in end-to-end finance processes.

Strong understanding of accounting and finance processes, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliation, general ledger, payment processing, and financial closing.

Experience in financial reporting, reconciliation, data processing, and financial analysis.

Advanced/Must-have Microsoft Excel skills, with strong ability to process, analyze, and interpret financial data.

Experience using Accurate accounting software is preferred.

Experience working in shipping, shipyard, logistics, manufacturing, or other complex business environments is an advantage.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

High level of integrity, accuracy, accountability, and confidentiality in handling financial information.

Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Good command of English, both spoken and written.

Willing to be placed in Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta.
