Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel; ability to analyse financial data.
• Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles, ledgers and close processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and data entry.
• Organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Clear communication and teamwork skills; able to collaborate across departments.
• Knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards and tax regulations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and subsidiary ledgers.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing and collections.
• Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with GAAP/IFRS standards.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Support the monthly close process including accruals and deferrals.
• Maintain accurate financial documentation and filing systems.
• Assist with audit activities and provide supporting documentation as needed.
• Support tax compliance activities and assist with tax-related documentation.

About the role

PT Huaxiang Technology Power Equipment Manufacturing is seeking a Finance and Accounting Staff to join our team on a full-time basis at our facility in Panongan, Banten. This is a crucial position within our financial operations, responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting functions and financial reporting activities of the organisation. As Finance and Accounting Staff, you will play an integral role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing timely financial information to support management decision-making. This position offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the financial health and stability of our growing manufacturing operation.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and subsidiary ledgers, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all financial records


• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoice verification, payment processing, and collections activities


• Prepare and post journal entries for various accounting transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles


• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports


• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner


• Support the monthly close process, including accruals, deferrals, and period-end adjustments


• Maintain accurate financial documentation and filing systems, ensuring all records are organised and readily accessible


• Assist with audit activities and provide supporting documentation as requested by auditors or management


• Support tax compliance activities and assist with the preparation of tax-related documentation


• Collaborate with other departments to obtain financial information and resolve accounting queries

What we're looking for

• Qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Diploma or Bachelor's degree)


• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create and analyse financial spreadsheets


• Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles, the general ledger, and the financial close process


• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping and data entry


• Solid organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines


• Clear communication abilities and the capacity to work effectively within a team environment


• Knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards and tax regulations is advantageous

Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred

• Willingness to learn and develop accounting skills and knowledge
