Job summary

PT Jiangsu Hengli Hydraulic Indonesia, based in Cikarang Pusat, West Java, seeks a Finance & Accounting Supervisor (Mandarin Speaker) to lead the accounting team and oversee financial reporting for our manufacturing facility.

You will supervise daily activities, ensure accurate GL/AP/AR, manage audits, and ensure tax compliance while liaising with auditors and authorities. Mandarin ability is preferred in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and Indonesian tax regulations.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication skills in Indonesian and English; Mandarin speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the daily activities of the accounting team, including staff scheduling and development.
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, GL, AP/AR, and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions per accounting standards and company policies.

• Conduct regular audits of accounting processes and implement improvements.

We are seeking a Finance & Accounting Supervisor to join PT Jiangsu Hengli Hydraulic Indonesia in a full-time position based in Cikarang Pusat, West Java. This is a supervisory role that plays a crucial part in overseeing the financial operations and accounting functions of our manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for leading a team of accounting staff, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. This position is integral to supporting the strategic financial objectives of our organisation and ensuring the smooth operation of all finance and accounting activities.

Key responsibilities

Supervise and manage the daily activities of the accounting team, including staff scheduling, performance management, and professional development

Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations

Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions in accordance with accounting standards and company policies

Monitor and control the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment authorisation

Prepare and analyse financial reports and reconciliations for management review and decision-making

Maintain compliance with local tax regulations, statutory reporting requirements, and company financial procedures

Conduct regular audits of accounting processes to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements

Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities as required

Support the development and implementation of accounting policies and internal controls

Manage the finance and accounting budget and monitor departmental expenditures

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounting roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership capacity

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and local Indonesian tax regulations

Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications

Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in financial data and reporting

Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team effectively

Excellent communication skills in both Indonesian and English, both written and verbal

Experience in manufacturing or logistics environments is preferred

Knowledge of internal control frameworks and audit procedures is advantageous

Professional accounting certification (such as ACCA or equivalent) is desirable

Mandarin Speaking will be preferable
