Job summary

The successful candidate will handle transaction recording, bank reconciliations, and assist with financial statements. Strong Excel skills, Indonesian and English communication, and a relevant degree are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• Experience in an accounting role, preferably in manufacturing or trading environment.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel; data accuracy is essential.
• Solid understanding of financial accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping.
• Good communication skills in Indonesian and English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Record and process financial transactions: invoices, POs, expense claims and payments.
• Maintain organized financial records per accounting principles and policies.
• Prepare and reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and subsidiary records.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing: journaling and reconciliations.
• Verify completeness and accuracy of financial docs and filing.
• Coordinate with internal teams for supporting documentation.

About the role

PT DAHSHENG is seeking an Accounting Staff to join our Finance team in Tangerang, Banten. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. As an Accounting Staff member, you will support the day-to-day financial operations of the organisation, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and contributing to the overall financial health of PT DAHSHENG. This role is essential to our ability to make informed business decisions and maintain stakeholder confidence in our financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Recording and processing financial transactions, including invoices, purchase orders, expense claims and payments
• Maintaining accurate and organized financial records in accordance with accounting principles and company policies
• Preparing and reconciling bank statements, ledger accounts and subsidiary records on a regular basis
• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports for management and stakeholders
• Supporting the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Verifying the completeness and accuracy of financial documentation and ensuring proper filing and archiving
• Liaising with internal departments to obtain necessary supporting documentation and clarify transaction details
• Identifying and resolving discrepancies and accounting errors in a timely manner
• Assisting with internal and external audit activities by providing required documentation and explanations
• Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed

What we’re looking for

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Proven experience working in an accounting role, ideally within a manufacturing or trading environment
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to work with financial data efficiently
• Solid understanding of financial accounting principles, double-entry bookkeeping and basic tax compliance
• Excellent attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in financial record-keeping
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Good communication skills in Indonesian and English, both written and verbal
• Willingness to learn and develop professional expertise in financial accounting and reporting
• Familiarity with Indonesian tax regulations and reporting requirements is advantageous
