Job summary

PT GWS Era Medika in Jakarta seeks a Senior Finance, Accounting & Tax leader to guide the team through daily queries, oversee bookkeeping, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.

You will produce reliable reports for shareholders and management, deliver budget analyses, drive process automation with IT, and develop controls while supporting cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership skills with min 8 years in finance, accounting and tax.
• Industry background in FMCG/Retail/e-Commerce; 2+ years at Big 4 as external auditor.
• Degree in Accounting from reputable university; min GPA 3.1.
• Advanced degree or related certification is a plus.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Positive, results-focused attitude.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Proficient in English, written and spoken.
• Experience in project management is a plus.

Job description

Provide leadership and supervision to the Finance, Accounting & Tax team, offering guidance and support for daily operational queries.

Responsible for bookkeeping activities to align with the applicable accounting standards and tax regulation, as well as implement reliable accounting recommendations for the ongoing/new transactions, and lead the execution for any corrective actions needed.

Produce accurate and reliable financial reports for shareholders, management, and business team.

Responsible to develop a regular insightful analysis based on the financial results against its budget/forecast.

Review and responsible for tax compliances across different business unit, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Provide technical tax support for both internal stakeholders and also to relevant tax authorities.

Work proactively to drive system automations/simplifications to ensure the team performs efficiently. This includes closely working with the technology team and other functions to drive record to report (RTR) process excellence.

Build/revamp relevant procedures in accordance with internal control compliance.

What we're looking for
