Job summary

Flip is seeking a Finance & Accounting Lead to own the company’s end-to-end finance and accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, managing regulatory reporting, and ensuring strong financial controls across the organization.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support business decisions, manage cash flow, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related field.
• 2–5 years in finance/accounting roles, fintech/startup preferred.
• Audit experience (Big 4 or similar) is a strong advantage.
• Solid understanding of end-to-end accounting and internal controls.
• Familiarity with regulatory reporting (BI or OJK) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end finance and accounting operations including AR, AP, GL, accruals, and adjustments for timely reporting.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports with variance analysis.
• Manage bank reconciliations, cash flow monitoring, and cash balances across accounts.
• Maintain and improve accounting systems (Xero, Odoo, or similar).
• Oversee vendor payments, verification, scheduling, and internal controls.
• Support external audits with documentation and schedules.

We are looking for a Finance & Accounting Lead who will take ownership of the company’s end-to-end finance and accounting operations. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, managing regulatory reporting, and ensuring strong financial controls across the organization.

You will work closely with cross‑functional teams including Operations, Legal, Tax, Business Development, and Leadership to support business decisions, manage cash flow, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations. This role is ideal for someone who is hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and comfortable operating as a key individual contributor in a fast‑paced and evolving environment.

What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end finance and accounting operations, including AR, AP, GL, accruals, and financial adjustments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports, including variance analysis against budget and business performance insights.
• Manage bank reconciliations, cash flow monitoring, and ensure accuracy of cash balances across accounts.
• Maintain and improve accounting systems (Xero, Odoo, or similar), including chart of accounts structure, data integrity, and financial process optimization.
• Oversee vendor payment processes, including document verification, payment scheduling, and internal control compliance.
• Support external audits by preparing financial documentation, schedules, and responding to auditor inquiries.
• Prepare and manage regulatory reporting to Bank Indonesia (BI), including required business projections and supporting financial data.
• Monitor key financial health indicators (e.g., TTMR and other regulatory ratios) to ensure ongoing compliance with applicable regulations.
• Review commercial agreements (contracts / PKS) from a financial, accounting, and cash flow perspective.
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams including Operations, Legal, Tax, Treasury, HR, and Business Development to ensure financial alignment across initiatives.
• Support budgeting, financial planning, and cash flow forecasting to maintain healthy financial operations.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in finance and accounting roles, preferably within fintech, financial services, or fast‑paced startup environments.
• Prior experience in audit (Big 4 or similar) is a strong advantage.
• Solid understanding of end-to-end accounting processes, financial reporting, and internal financial controls.
• Familiarity with regulatory reporting and compliance requirements (experience with BI or OJK reporting is a plus).
• Hands‑on experience with accounting systems such as Xero, Odoo, or similar ERP platforms.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and translate it into business insights.
• Ability to work independently as a hands‑on contributor while managing multiple priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of ownership over financial accuracy.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
