Job summary

PT Loka Abadi Sentausa in Jakarta seeks an experienced Field Supervisor & Engineer to oversee on-site construction operations and ensure projects meet safety, schedule, and budget requirements.

You will supervise construction teams, interpret drawings, monitor progress, manage budgets, and maintain records. Strong leadership and English/Indonesian communication are essential; willingness to travel across project sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of field supervisor or site engineer experience in the construction industry; concrete flooring experience preferable.
• Proven track record of managing multiple construction projects from start to finish.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, equipment, and safety regulations in Indonesia.
• Fluent Indonesian and English communication (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on-site, ensuring all work complies with project specifications and safety standards.
• Manage and coordinate construction teams, including workers, main contractors, and specialists to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
• Monitor project progress against scheduled timelines and take corrective action to ensure on-time delivery.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and implement safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment for all personnel.
• Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and construction plans to guide field operations.
• Document daily site activities, progress reports, and maintain accurate records of work completed.
• Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with quality standards and project requirements.
• Manage budget allocation for materials, labor and equipment on assigned projects.
• Communicate regularly with project management, clients, and other stakeholders regarding project status and issues.
• Identify potential risks and problems on-site and implement solutions promptly.
