We're Hiring: Field Service Technician Label!

Our Client a global market-leading original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and trader of high-end packaging and printing machinery, who are looking for a skilled Field Service Technician – Label Machinery. Based in Jakarta, this role serves as the primary technical field representative for the company's label printing and converting product line (flexographic, digital, and hybrid label presses). The position is fully responsible for providing on-site installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, and client technical training across industrial production facilities in the region.

What You'll Do:

• On-Site Installation & Maintenance: Execute end-to-end equipment installation, assembly, commissioning, relocation, and scheduled preventive maintenance for advanced label printing and converting machinery.

• Diagnostics & Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose, isolate, and repair complex mechanical, electrical, electronic, and pneumatic faults on customer machinery to minimize production downtime.

• Customer Training & Support: Conduct technical training and operational guidance for client machine operators and plant maintenance engineers to ensure safe, efficient equipment operation.

• Global Support Collaboration: Work closely with the international technical support team and regional technical back-office to resolve complex equipment escalations.

• Reporting & Documentation: Provide accurate service reports, maintenance logs, site assessment summaries, and feedback to both customers and internal management upon job completion.

• Digital & Operational Tools: Utilize standard enterprise software (Office 365, diagnostic tools) to manage service orders, track technical documentation, and record spare parts usage.

What We're Looking For:

• Technical Education: Bachelor's Degree (S1) or Higher Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or a related technical discipline (a major or background in printing technology is a strong advantage).

• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on professional experience as a Field Service Engineer/Technician, ideally within the Printing, Packaging, Converting Equipment, or Heavy Industrial Machinery sectors.

• Direct experience servicing flexographic, digital inkjet, or hybrid label printing presses is a major plus.

• Solid capability in reading and interpreting mechanical engineering drawings, electrical schematics, pneumatic diagrams, and machine floor layouts.

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills; meticulous attention to detail with a solution-oriented mindset.

• Language Skills: Proficient in English (both written and spoken) for international technical support coordination and regional documentation, alongside fluent Bahasa Indonesia.

• Tech-savvy with strong proficiency using laptops and standard administrative software (Office 365).

• Must hold a valid passport and be willing to travel frequently across the country and region for client site interventions.
