Job summary

PT Asix Global Industrial in Pasuruan is seeking a skilled Mechanic/Technician to install, service, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical systems on high-speed printing presses and packaging equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose failures, align gears, adjust cylinders, and ensure all work adheres to safety standards.

Experience with Heidelberg, Komori, or flexo/rotogravure lines is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Automation Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mechanic or Technician in offset or flexible packaging printing manufacturing.
• Hands-on expertise installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting printing presses, coaters, and slitting equipment.
• Proficient in mechanical alignment, gear systems, cylinder adjustments, pneumatic/hydraulic controls, and drive systems.
• Skilled in reading mechanical blueprints, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
• Proficient with precision measurement tools and shop tools.
• Able to work shifts and teamwork.
• Industrial Mechanical / K3 BNSP Certification is a plus.
• Willing to be placed in PIER, Pasuruan.

Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs mechanical and electrical systems on high-speed printing presses and packaging equipment.

• Diagnoses mechanical breakdowns, gear/cylinder alignments, and pneumatic/hydraulic system faults on production machinery.

• Performs mechanical alignment, gear systems, cylinder adjustments, pneumatic/hydraulic controls, and drive systems.
• Performs scheduled preventive maintenance to reduce machinery downtime on high-speed production lines.

About you

Associate's or Bachelor's degree (D3/S1) in Electrical, Mechanical, or Automation Engineering

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mechanic or Technician in offset or flexible packaging printing manufacturing

Hands-on expertise in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting printing presses, coaters, and slitting equipment

Proficient in mechanical alignment, gear systems, cylinder adjustments, pneumatic/hydraulic controls, and drive systems

Skilled in reading mechanical blueprints, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics

Proficient with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, dial gauges) and shop tools

Strong mechanical troubleshooting, alignment, bearing replacement, and preventive maintenance skills

Able to work shifts and team work

Industrial Mechanical / K3 BNSP Certification is a plus

Willing to be placed in PIER, Pasuruan.
