Job summary

TERA Data Centers seeks an experienced Field Engineer to be the technical authority for hyperscale data center operations in Indonesia. This role combines deep expertise in critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure with leadership to drive reliability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years in data center operations or mission-critical facilities.
• Minimum 5 years in senior engineering or technical leadership roles.
• Proven experience in commissioning, operation, maintenance, and reliability of mission-critical infrastructure.
• Experience in advanced troubleshooting in a 24×7 environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for all critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure.
• Serve as the highest technical escalation point for complex engineering issues and incidents.
• Lead advanced troubleshooting, RCA, and corrective action implementation.
• Develop and maintain engineering standards, procedures, and best practices.
• Review and approve engineering documentation (SOPs, MOPs, EOPs, maintenance strategies, risk assessments).
• Support commissioning, IST, upgrades, and operational readiness for new facilities.
• Drive preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize asset reliability.
• Monitor equipment health, reliability trends, and KPIs for continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with standards, regulations, and policies.
• Collaborate with Facilities Managers, Project Engineers, OEMs, and vendors to optimize performance.
