Job summary

PT SMART Tbk is seeking a seasoned Operations Manager to oversee plant activities, coordinate with plantations for raw material supply, and ensure adherence to procedures. Responsibilities include supervising operations, approving budgets, and maintaining asset security while driving continuous improvement in production processes and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead large teams and manage daily plant operations.
• Strong coordination with plantation and internal departments to ensure quality and supply.
• Good decision-making in critical or emergency situations with proper reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide periodic guidance across organizational levels to ensure smooth operations per procedures.
• Approve and sign off on material requests, expenses, and other operational requirements.
• Coordinate with plantation to maintain consistent quality and supply of FFB from plantation/third parties.
• Review and sign operational reports; follow up on issues promptly.
• Ensure security of company assets and compliance with SOPs across operations.
• Monitor weighing processes, staffing availability, and machine performance to prevent delays.
• Oversee maintenance schedules and ensure safety standards and government regulations are met.
• Supervise cost control across wages, overtime, materials, services, and admin expenses.
