• Certification is a plus: CFM, FMP, OSHA.

Job Summary

The Facility Manager is responsible for ensuring that all buildings, grounds, and equipment are safe, well-maintained, and operating efficiently. This role manages maintenance, vendors, safety, and budgets to support daily business operations.

Main Responsibilities

Building & Operations Management

• Inspect and manage all facilities, buildings, and work areas
• Ensure building systems work properly: AC, lighting, plumbing, electrical, elevator
• Create and implement preventive maintenance schedules

Maintenance & Repair

• Coordinate cleaning, security, and maintenance teams
• Handle urgent repairs and breakdowns quickly
• Manage inventory of tools and supplies

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations (K3, OSHA, fire safety)
• Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments
• Ensure emergency exits, fire extinguishers, and first-aid kits are available

Vendor & Budget Management

• Negotiate contracts with vendors, contractors, and suppliers
• Manage facility budget and control costs
• Track utility usage and find ways to save energy and cost

Space & Asset Management

• Manage office layout, seating, and space allocation
• Keep records of company assets and equipment
• Plan for renovations, moves, or new facilities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Management, or related field
• 3-5+ years experience in facility management or building operations
• Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Good at managing vendors and budgets
• Certification is a plus: CFM, FMP, OSHA
