Job summary

Novotel Jakarta Cikini, part of AccorHotels Indonesia, is seeking an enthusiastic F&B Outlet Staff to support opening and closing operations and ensure outlets meet our standards.

You will supervise junior teammates, handle reservations and guest orders, maintain food safety and hygiene, and upsell while delivering personalized service that helps guests enjoy a memorable stay in central Jakarta.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a similar capacity in 3 or 4-star hotel
• Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
• Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage
• Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
• Good communication and customer contact skills
• Service oriented with an eye for details
• Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team
• Self-motivated and energetic
• Must be well-presented and professionally groomed at all times

Responsibilities

• Support opening/closing operations and ensure outlet setup meets standards.
• Supervise junior team members and casual staff, ensuring tasks are completed properly and on time.
• Manage restaurant reservations, cancellations, and daily confirmations.
• Take guest F&B orders and provide service according to hotel standards.
• Ensure food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures are followed.
• Upsell and cross-sell F&B products and other dining outlets to maximize revenue.
• Provide personalized guest service by remembering guest preferences where possible.
• Handle guest complaints and feedback professionally and report issues to management.
• Manage assigned workstation/outlet operations and assist other F&B outlets during peak periods.
• Handle F&B supply requisitions and verify stock received.
• Maintain knowledge of F&B products, preparation, outlets, and hotel services.
• Follow fire/life safety procedures, attend briefings and training, and maintain punctuality, grooming, uniform, and hygiene standards.
• Perform other reasonable duties assigned by management.
