Job summary

PT CitraDimensi Arthali is a leading frozen seafood manufacturer in Indonesia seeking an experienced import/export operations professional to manage end-to-end processes. You will prepare shipping forms, declarations, and origin certificates, ensuring compliance across the supply chain.

You will build and maintain relationships with suppliers, freight forwarders, and brokers, analyze costs, negotiate rates, and track KPIs to optimize efficiency at Muara Baru, North Jakarta facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, international business, supply chain management, or related field.
• Experience in import/export operations in a manufacturing company is essential.
• Strong understanding of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and documentation.
• Familiarity with trade agreements, tariff schedules, Incoterms, and export controls.
• Proficient negotiation skills for terms with suppliers and service providers.
• Ability to analyze market trends, interpret trade data, and assess financial implications.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end export/import operation management and document processing.
• Prepare and process import/export documents such as shipping forms and customs declarations.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
• Communicate effectively and resolve issues in the import/export process.
• Analyze costs, negotiate freight rates, and implement cost-saving strategies.
• Track KPIs related to shipments, inventory, and compliance; drive continuous improvements.

Job description

Updated on international trade laws, regulations, and documentation requirements to ensure all import and export activities comply with legal standards.

Manage the end to end export import operation management, prepare and process of import/export documents, such as shipping forms, customs declarations, and certificates of origin.

Maintain relationships with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other stakeholders involved in the import/export process. Ensure effective communication and resolve any issues that may arise.

Analyze import/export costs, negotiate freight rates, and implement strategies to minimize expenses while maintaining quality standards.

Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to import/export operations, such as shipment lead times, inventory levels, and compliance metrics. Use data analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Qualification :

A bachelor's degree in business administration, international business, supply chain management, or a related field is often required.

Previous experience in import/export operations from manufacturing company is essential for this role.

Strong understanding of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements is crucial.

Candidates should be familiar with trade agreements, tariff schedules, Incoterms, and export control regulations.

Proficiency in negotiation techniques is valuable for securing favorable terms with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other service providers involved in international trade.

The ability to analyze market trends, interpret trade data, and assess financial implications is important for developing effective import/export strategies and optimizing supply chain operations.

Good communication skills and fluent in English.
