Job summary

PT CTCI International Indonesia is seeking an Experienced Instrumentation and Control Engineer to join our project teams in Jakarta. You will lead control system design, instrument specification development, and detailed engineering drawings for FEED/EPC projects.

You will coordinate with other disciplines, prepare MTO/BOQ for instrumentation, and support FAT and field inspection. English proficiency and willingness to work at client sites are required for successful delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrument & Control Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in instrument and control system design for FEED or EPC projects.
• Experience with control system design (DCS/PLC/FMCS/BMS) and instrument datasheets.
• Proficient with design/engineering software (SPI, SP3D, E3D, Revit, AutoCAD).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead instrumentation and control system design for FEED/EPC projects.
• Prepare instrument specifications, datasheets, and MTO/BOQ items.
• Support FAT and site commissioning activities and QA/QC.
• Coordinate with multi-discipline teams for data and drawings.
• Ensure designs meet safety standards and customer requirements.

Job description

Experienced Instrumentation and Control Engineer

Engineering design works include Control System, instrument specifications, analyzer instrument, and detail design Engineering, etc.

Mostly the design works will be worked by teamwork and led by Instrumentation & Control System leader engineer, and team member should participate engineering projects and deliver the produces on schedule.

Ensure that Project engineering designs are in line with customer needs and safety standards

Ensuring all techniques, procedures, and designs meet appropriate compliance standards

Coordinate with other Engineering Disciplines for technical data/information provisions/receiving.

Summarize data and report on test results

Prepare instrument material take off (MTO) list for quotation project and Bill of Quantity (BOQ) of instrumentation & control material for inquiry during bidding stage

Support the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and inspection of I&C related equipment

Dispatched to domestic/foreign construction site as Field Engineer (FE) to support site construction/commissioning work, etc.

Qualifications, Skills and Competencies:

Bachelor’s degree in Instrument & Control Engineering or Physics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering

Minimum of 5 years of experience in instrument and control system design for FEED or EPC Project.

With experiences on Control system design (DCS/PLC/FMCS/BMS), instrument specifications and detail design Engineering drawing/detail installation drawing are favourable, (experiences include Control system design, develop system architecture, prepare instrument specification/datasheet, detail installation drawing, prepare instrument/material requisitions and construction layout drawings, etc.)

Proficient in design and engineering software (SPI, SP3D, E3D, Revit, AutoCAD etc.,)

Good understanding of construction methods and practices.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong interpersonal skills with strong attention to detail.

Fluent in English listening, speaking, reading, and writing, with the ability to independently interact with foreign clients.

Willing to be assigned to the site if project is required.
