Job summary

ASTON Pekalongan Syariah Hotel & Conference Center in Pekalongan is hiring for a Restaurant & Banquet Coordinator. You will supervise the Restaurant & Banquet teams, ensure quality service, and support event setups.

Candidates should have at least 1 year in a related role, strong knowledge of banquet operations, and the ability to read BEOs. English is an advantage; weekends and public holidays are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position, preferably in the hotel/hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant and banquet operations.
• Experienced in handling events, meetings, weddings, and banquet functions.
• Able to supervise and coordinate the Restaurant & Banquet team during daily operations and events.
• Good understanding of service standards, table setup, banquet setup, and food & beverage service.
• Able to read and understand Banquet Event Orders (BEO) and ensure proper event preparation.
• Strong leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to handle guest requests and complaints professionally.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of English is an advantage.
• High level of discipline, responsibility, and attention to detail.
• Well-groomed appearance and professional attitude.
• Familiar with hotel service standards and hospitality etiquette.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
