Job summary

Kuoni Tumlare in Indonesia seeks a Hotel Reservation Expert to ensure successful bookings of groups in contracted and non-contracted hotels within your area of responsibility. You will leverage your destination knowledge and supplier network to handle complex cases while contributing to efficiency and profitability in line with company strategies.

The role requires strong English communication, data analysis, and proactive planning.

Qualifications

• Strong communication (written & spoken) in English.
• Analytical thinking with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (data analysis in Excel, reporting in PowerPoint).
• Planning and proactive work approach.
• Hardworking and reliable.

• Good negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Book hotel space in contracted and non-contracted properties and manage allotments.
• Maximize profit through initial bookings and renegotiations to optimize arrivals.
• Coordinate hotel add-ons, rooming lists, and related services.
• Source hotel space for MICE groups, meeting spaces, and gala venues.
• Prebook hotel space for series groups.
• Coordinate with supplier and finance on invoices and prepayments.
• Maintain hotel relationships for capacity and favorable terms.
• Communicate updates promptly within the team about closures or renovations.
• Support customer service in major on-road issues like book-outs.
• Build rapport with hotel GSO for multiple options.
