Job summary

PT Halley & Mellowes Australasia is seeking an energetic Estimator to prepare detailed cost estimates in line with project requirements and company procedures.

The role involves responding to inquiries, assisting in tender preparation, and coordinating with drafting and production teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in an Estimator role within an engineering, fabrication, or industrial environment
• Familiarity with piping systems or wear solutions is a plus
• Strong command of English (verbal and written)
• Attention to detail and accuracy in estimations
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates in line with project requirements and company procedures.
• Ensure compliance with internal guidelines, approval limits, and margin expectations.
• Support Sales Managers by responding to inquiries and assisting in tender preparation.
• Collaborate with the drafting and production teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Participate in the preparation and submission of project tenders, including identifying scope, estimating costs, and completing required documentation.
• Support post-contract processes including manufacturing approvals and coordination.
• Contribute to maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and customer service.
• Assist in fulfilling basic reporting requirements as directed by the Senior Estimator and Sales Manager.
