Job summary

PT. Dexa Medica (Member of Dexa Group) is seeking a Head of Building Engineering to oversee all building operations, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, genset, UPS, lift, fire protection, and BMS systems at the Head Office in Bintaro.

You will lead preventive and corrective maintenance programs and ensure safety compliance for meeting rooms and event facilities. The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, 8+ years in building engineering or facilities management

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience in building engineering or facilities management.
• At least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Experience with commercial buildings (offices, hotels, malls, hospitals) or similar facilities.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, HVAC, genset, UPS, lifts, fire protection, and BMS.
• Knowledge of K3 safety, emergency response, and building regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee building engineering operations and maintenance across electrical, HVAC/chiller, plumbing, genset, UPS, lift, fire protection, BMS and civil facilities.
• Develop and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Ensure safety and technical readiness of meeting rooms and event facilities.
• Manage tenant technical complaints, fit-out, renovations, and contractor activities.

Job description

Oversee building engineering operations and maintenance, including electrical, HVAC/chiller, plumbing, genset, UPS, lift, fire protection, BMS, and civil facilities.

Develop and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance programs.

Ensure technical readiness and safety of meeting rooms and event facilities.

Manage tenant technical complaints, fit-out, renovation, and contractor activities.

Ensure compliance with building safety standards, K3, permits, and operational regulations.

Manage energy efficiency, OPEX/CAPEX, vendors, and asset lifecycle.

Lead the engineering team and ensure effective emergency response and business continuity.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum 8 years of experience in building engineering or facility management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

Experienced in managing commercial buildings such as office buildings, hotels, malls, hospitals, or similar facilities.

Strong knowledge of building systems (MEP, HVAC, genset, UPS, lift, fire protection, and BMS).

Experienced in maintenance management, OPEX/CAPEX, vendor management, and building safety compliance.

Good understanding of K3, emergency response, and building operational regulations.

Willing to handle critical technical issues outside regular working hours when required.

Relevant technical or safety certifications are an advantage.
