Job summary

Talent Insider, an upcoming HR consultancy based in Indonesia, seeks a highly experienced Facilities Manager to oversee data center MEP operations in Jakarta. You will manage day-to-day facility activities, drive preventive maintenance, and coordinate with vendors to ensure continuous uptime.

Required: a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Facilities Management and at least 8 years in facility management with MEP focus, plus strong leadership and cross-functional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in facility management, with a focus on MEP systems.
• Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical distribution, fire protection, and plumbing.
• Experience with building automation systems (BAS) and monitoring tools for MEP systems.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to MEP systems, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the data center facility, including monitoring and maintenance of MEP systems to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all critical MEP equipment, including generators, UPS systems, HVAC, fire suppression systems, and electrical distribution systems.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of MEP systems to identify potential issues or areas for improvement, and develop action plans to address them.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to schedule maintenance activities, repairs, and upgrades, ensuring minimal impact on data center operations.
