Job summary

PT Eka Jaya Internasional, a cosmetics manufacturer in Tangerang, seeks an Engineering Manager to lead engineering across multiple production lines, drive preventive maintenance, and oversee Capex projects. You will ensure GMP and BPOM compliance, implement continuous improvements, and coordinate with Production, Quality, HSE, and other departments to meet strategic targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 8–10 years in engineering/maintenance in manufacturing, with 3–5 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in cosmetics, personal care or home care industry.
• Hands-on experience managing multiple production lines (filling, mixing, packing, cartoning).
• Strong understanding of GMP cosmetics (CPKB/ISO 22716), BPOM regulations, and equipment validation (IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Familiar with TPM, Lean Manufacturing, OEE, and RCA.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and cross-department coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Engineering Team Management: Lead and manage the engineering team to support multiple production lines and ensure effective team performance.
• Maintenance Management: Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Capex Project Management: Oversee capex projects, including new machine installations, equipment upgrades, and line improvements.
• GMP & Safety Compliance: Ensure all equipment, facilities, and engineering activities comply with GMP, BPOM, and safety standards.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to reduce downtime, improve efficiency, and optimize maintenance costs.
• Budget & KPI Management: Manage the engineering budget and monitor KPIs including OEE, MTTR, MTBF, and safety incidents.
• Equipment & Facility Management: Ensure availability, reliability, and proper functioning of production equipment and facilities.
• Reporting & Coordination: Prepare engineering performance reports and coordinate with Production, Quality, HSE, and other departments to support targets.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering

Minimum 8–10 years of experience in engineering/maintenance within manufacturing, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role

Proven experience in the cosmetics, personal care or home care industry

Hands‑on experience managing multiple production lines simultaneously (filling, mixing, packing, cartoning)

Strong understanding of GMP Cosmetics (CPKB/ISO 22716), BPOM regulations, and equipment validation (IQ/OQ/PQ)

Familiar with TPM, Lean Manufacturing, OEE, and root cause analysis (RCA)
