Job summary

PT Eka Jaya Internasional is seeking a Purchasing Packaging Material Supervisor to lead packaging material procurement and supplier coordination. The role is based on-site in Alam Sutera, Tangerang, with a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of purchasing experience preferred.

fluency in Mandarin is a plus, and candidates should be proficient in Excel and SAP, capable of negotiation, and maintaining cost and quality controls in a fast-paced beauty-product environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in any major.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Purchasing, preferably Packaging Materials.
• Able to communicate with suppliers in Mandarin (spoken/written) is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SAP systems.
• Strong negotiation skills and detail-oriented with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Supplier Coordination: Communicate with local/overseas suppliers on price, sampling, lead time, and updates.
• Purchasing Execution: Handle PR/PO creation, price comparison, and material ordering for packaging or raw materials.
• Cost & Quality Monitoring: Ensure materials meet quality standards while managing costs.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain records, supplier data, and timely reports.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Coordinate with Production, QC, R&D, and Warehouse to ensure material readiness.
• Issue Resolution: Address delivery delays, quality issues, and negotiate corrective actions with suppliers.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in any major.

Minimum 2 years of experience in Purchasing, preferably handling Packaging Materials.

Able to communicate with suppliers in Mandarin (spoken and/or written) is a plus.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SAP systems.

Strong negotiation skills, detail-oriented, and effective communication abilities.

Good analytical thinking with strong problem-solving skills.

Willing to work on-site in Alam Sutera, Tangerang.

Job Responsibilities:
