Job summary

Eka Jaya Group is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the engineering and maintenance teams across multiple production lines in our cosmetics manufacturing facility. You will drive preventive and predictive maintenance, CAPEX projects, and ensure GMP, BPOM compliance, and equipment validation.

The role requires strong leadership, data-driven problem solving, and a track record of reducing downtime and improving OEE.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of engineering/maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• 3–5 years in a managerial role.
• Cosmetics, personal care or home care industry experience.
• Hands-on experience managing multiple production lines (filling, mixing, packing, cartoning).
• Strong understanding of GMP Cosmetics (CPKB/ISO 22716), BPOM regulations, and equipment validation (IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Familiar with TPM, Lean Manufacturing, OEE, and root cause analysis (RCA).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the engineering team to support multiple production lines and ensure effective team performance.
• Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize reliability.
• Oversee Capex projects including new machine installations and upgrades.
• Ensure GMP, BPOM and safety standards compliance across equipment and facilities.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce downtime, improve efficiency, and lower maintenance costs.
• Manage the engineering budget and monitor KPIs like OEE, MTTR, MTBF and safety incidents.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, HSE and other departments to support operational targets.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering

• GMP & Safety Compliance: Ensure all equipment, facilities, and engineering activities comply with GMP, BPOM, and applicable safety standards.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce equipment downtime, improve efficiency, and optimize maintenance costs.
• Budget & KPI Management: Manage the engineering budget and monitor key performance indicators, including OEE, MTTR, MTBF, and safety incidents.
• Equipment & Facility Management: Ensure the availability, reliability, and proper functioning of production equipment and facility systems.
• Reporting & Coordination: Prepare engineering performance reports and coordinate with Production, Quality, HSE, and other departments to support operational targets
