Job summary

Desa Potato Head Bali seeks a Chief Engineer to lead the engineering team, safeguard guest safety, manage training, and oversee the department budget, ensuring guest-ready, code-compliant operations across facilities.

You will shape how the department is run, drive preventive maintenance, and coordinate with vendors and authorities to uphold sustainability and future-proofing of the property.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related).
• 7–10 years of engineering or facilities management experience.
• 3–5 years in a senior role such as Chief Engineer.
• Proven leadership, budgeting, project management and team development skills.
• Strong knowledge of facility maintenance and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering department to meet high standards and safety.
• Ensure engineering works, safety procedures, and emergency protocols comply with standards and regulations.
• Manage the department budget including maintenance, repairs and capital projects.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors, contractors, service providers and authorities.
