Desa Potato Head Bali seeks a Chief Engineer to lead the engineering team, safeguard guest safety, manage training, and oversee the department budget, ensuring guest-ready, code-compliant operations across facilities.

You will shape how the department is run, drive preventive maintenance, and coordinate with vendors and authorities to uphold sustainability and future-proofing of the property.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related).
• 7–10 years of engineering or facilities management experience.
• 3–5 years in a senior role such as Chief Engineer.
• Proven leadership, budgeting, project management and team development skills.
• Strong knowledge of facility maintenance and safety compliance.

We are looking for a Chief Engineer to ensure the highest standards of work and safety, manage employee training and performance, oversee the department's budget, and lead efficient day-to-day operations across facility management.

A major part of the role is safeguarding the environment guests and teams move through every day — from the systems behind the scenes to the standards that keep everyone safe. The Chief Engineer will lead the engineering team, shape how the department is run, and ensure the property is always guest-ready, code-compliant and future-proofed.

What You'll Do

• Lead the engineering department, ensuring all work across allocated outlets meets the highest standards and the safest possible environment.
• Ensure all engineering works, safety procedures, and emergency protocols meet industry standards and local regulatory requirements
• Manage the engineering department's budget, including maintenance, repairs and capital projects.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors, contractors, service providers and local authorities.

What You Bring

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or a related field).
• 7–10 years of experience in engineering or facilities management, including at least 3–5 years in a senior role such as Chief Engineer.
• Proven leadership, budgeting, project management, and team development experience.
• Strong knowledge of facility maintenance, safety compliance, emergency procedures, and engineering operations
