Job summary

Monroe Consulting Group represents a leading industrial and power ecosystem company seeking a Chief of Engineering to serve as the top technical authority, directing engineering strategy and project execution across high-tech facilities in APAC.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years of leadership in complex facilities, with exposure to semiconductor, pharma/biotech, electronics, or mission-critical environments. Expatriate experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Chemical, or related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of engineering leadership experience delivering complex industrial or high-tech facilities.
• Strong expertise in cleanroom engineering and contamination-controlled environments.
• Proven experience in semiconductor manufacturing facilities, pharmaceutical/biotech facilities, electronics manufacturing, or mission-critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall engineering strategy and technical direction for high-tech industrial projects.
• Provide technical leadership across design, engineering, construction, commissioning, and project execution.
• Develop and implement engineering standards, procedures, and QA frameworks.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, process utilities, HVAC, and cleanroom systems.
• Support business development, solution design, and project tendering with technical expertise.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure high standards of delivery.
• Drive engineering innovation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Build, mentor, and develop engineering capabilities and talent within the organization.
