I-pex Indonesia Inc is seeking an Engineer Injection Molding to join our operations team at our manufacturing facility in Bintan, Riau Islands. This on-site role focuses on overseeing and optimizing injection moulding processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety across production runs.

Ideal candidates hold a mechanical/manufacturing engineering qualification and have 3–5 years of hands-on experience with injection moulding equipment, tooling, and process refinement.

Qualifications

• Formal qualification in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience with injection moulding equipment and processes.
• In-depth knowledge of injection moulding technology, including machine operation, tooling and material properties.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities for efficient issue resolution.
• Experience with quality control procedures and understanding of product specifications and tolerances.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings, specifications and manufacturing documentation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to health and safety standards and workplace safety protocols.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to identify defects and implement process improvements.
• Train and supervise production staff on safe operating procedures and moulding techniques.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of production runs, maintenance activities and process adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations throughout all manufacturing operations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to cost reduction efforts.

About the role

I-pex Indonesia Inc is seeking an Engineer Injection Molding to join our operations team at our manufacturing facility in Bintan, Riau Islands. This is a full-time position based on-site, where you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimising our injection moulding processes. As an Engineer Injection Molding, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency, quality and safety of our production operations, directly contributing to the success of our manufacturing facility and the quality of products delivered to our clients.

Key responsibilities

Monitor and oversee injection moulding machines and production processes to ensure optimal performance and adherence to quality standards

Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with injection moulding equipment and implement corrective actions

Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure operational efficiency

Develop and refine moulding parameters, procedures and specifications to improve product quality and production efficiency

Collaborate with quality assurance teams to identify defects and implement process improvements

What we're looking for

Formal qualification or certification in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering or a related technical discipline

Minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience working with injection moulding equipment and processes

In-depth knowledge of injection moulding technology, including machine operation, tooling and material properties

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently

Experience with quality control procedures and understanding of product specifications and tolerances

Proficiency in reading technical drawings, specifications and manufacturing documentation

Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment

Commitment to health and safety standards and understanding of workplace safety protocols

Ability to work shifts if required by operational demands

Preferred: Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, experience in a manufacturing environment with ISO certifications, or knowledge of plastic materials and processing
