I-pex Indonesia Inc is seeking an Engineer Injection Molding to join our operations team at our manufacturing facility in Bintan, Riau Islands. This on-site role focuses on overseeing and optimizing injection moulding processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety across production runs.

Ideal candidates hold a mechanical/manufacturing engineering qualification and have 3–5 years of hands-on experience with injection moulding equipment, tooling, and process refinement.

Formación

• Formal qualification in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience with injection moulding equipment and processes.
• In-depth knowledge of injection moulding technology, including machine operation, tooling and material properties.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities for efficient issue resolution.
• Experience with quality control procedures and understanding of product specifications and tolerances.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings, specifications and manufacturing documentation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to health and safety standards and workplace safety protocols.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and oversee injection moulding machines and production processes to ensure optimal performance and adherence to quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with injection moulding equipment and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure operational efficiency.
• Develop and refine moulding parameters, procedures and specifications to improve product quality and production efficiency.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to identify defects and implement process improvements.
• Train and supervise production staff on safe operating procedures and moulding techniques.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of production runs, maintenance activities and process adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations throughout all manufacturing operations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to cost reduction efforts.
