About the role

We are seeking a Supervisor Production to join our team at our facility in Bintan, Riau Islands. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production department. As Supervisor Production, you will be responsible for overseeing daily production activities, managing production teams, and maintaining compliance with quality, safety and operational standards. This role is integral to achieving our production targets whilst upholding the highest standards of workplace safety and product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage production team members, including task allocation, performance monitoring and staff development
• Ensure production targets and deadlines are met whilst maintaining quality standards
• Monitor production processes and equipment to identify issues and implement corrective actions
• Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular safety briefings
• Conduct daily inspections of production areas, equipment and finished products to ensure compliance with company standards
• Liaise with other departments, including quality assurance and maintenance teams, to resolve production-related issues
• Maintain accurate production records and generate reports on production metrics and team performance
• Train and mentor production staff on production procedures, safety practices and quality requirements
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased operational efficiency
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, company policies and standard operating procedures

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a production supervisor or similar supervisory role within a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of production processes, manufacturing equipment and quality control procedures
• Excellent leadership and team management capabilities with the ability to motivate and develop staff
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and health standards
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English; fluency in local languages is advantageous
• Problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational issues
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets and deadlines
• Knowledge of relevant manufacturing regulations and compliance requirements
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in production management or manufacturing supervision are preferred
